A Billion colour story: The best movie you've not heard about

This is not a movie. It's a mirror, showing us what the world is going through. A mirror showing us a glimpse of the grotesque caricature of ourselves that we've become.

It does not matter from which "country" you are. In today's world, one might relate to this movie if you're willing to agree that something is fundamentally wrong in the the world we're in, and in the direction we're heading towards.

It is an island in the turbulent ocean, an oasis in the desert of unreason and a bright star in a dark sky. A time and place for you to stop and think. The tree in the desert where the bone- dry skeletons that our conscious, logic, kinship and minds are lie, continuously pecked by the merchants of hate, the peddlers of lies and by the megalomaniacs that rule primetime. About what kind of a nightmare world we have allowed to consume us and our souls.

I mean, if refugees are allowed from an imploding, war - torn country based on their "religion" then I do not really know the meaning of anything anymore. At what point in human history did we reach the nadir? During the massacre of millions during WW2 as they were not of "pure blood", or at this moment? What the fuck is that shit, anyway?

Why do we humans find a million reasons to "divide" ourselves on the basis of language, borders, ideology, religion, script, food, caste, skin colour, politics, history, culture, music and a million other things? Where does this constant aggression to prove that "I'm superior to you" come from? Is it a fundamental human construct? A bane of the "intelligence" of human beings? After all, we do not see animals engaging in this. Is it the constant insecurity to be a part of a "group", as we're social animals after all? Discrimination, racism, judgement - are these ingrained from birth, or are we polluted by society?

The fact that not many people have even heard of this movie speaks volumes about the times we live in. A siege of the mind by the crassness, the lies, the hatred, division, intolerance, ego and megalomania. No wonder more and more countries are heading towards totalitarianism.

The Stunning Vasuki Sunkavalli , the pure Dhruva Padmakumar and the idealistic Gaurav Sharma have brought the daring, revolutionary vision of Padmakumar Narasimhamurthy to life, bones, blood and all. I truly wonder how our amazing censor board allowed this gem to pass through. Experience it when you can. I don't know when the thought police will realize and erase this from our collective memory.
