Holland downtown and Tulip festival

Every Spring, around May, Holland (Western Michigan) plays host to tourists from around the region to witness the thousands of colorful tulips that adorn town. We made it to Holland this year, and here are some pictures :)

Windmill island gardens entrance

Below is the De Zwaan(dutch for The swan) windmill in Windmill island park. This is the only authentic Dutch windmill in the United States  :) You can get up the windmill, too.

The warm friend, Holland downtown.
Downtown is an interesting place, with lots of interesting shops selling authentic Dutch items. There is always something fun happening.

There are some pretty interesting pubs, but we couldn't go this time. Next time for sure!

This looked neat, so I clicked it.
